By first creating wireframes and mockups, I provided input on the design of the Biodesign Institute's web tool for streaming events. The first version was a simple shell for displaying a QuickTime video feed, which would be activated whenever the Institute hosted events for the public. The second version was a more robust application developed in the Ruby on Rails framework, enabling employees to create and manage their own events. I worked on the design plus the html and css coding for both versions, and was in the process of designing a concept for an updated look. Users signed in using ASU's single sign-in protocol, allowing a seamless sign on experience across all Biodesign Institute Intranet Applications.
